Update on Windermere's 40th Anniversary

Meals on Wheels: This program is managed by the Department of Aging and relies on volunteers for weekends and holidays. There are over 300 individuals in the county that receive meals through the program. The Men of the Church have been sponsoring this ministry on Memorial Day for over fifteen years. Please make your plans now to help. Invite your family and friends to participate in this ministry to our local community as well.  A sign up list for volunteers is posted in the Narthex. Please contact Michael Coleman, 262-8771, or e-mail mjcoleman@ec.rr.com, if you have any questions.

CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS:  Please help us save postage and pick up your quarterly statements located in the Narthex.

WINDERMERE 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Perhaps you have heard already.  If not, the 40th anniversary celebration has been scheduled for April 11, 2010.  A planning committee has been formed to plan this event.  The members are:  Dennis Brandon, Janet Casey, Bess Dietrick, Rhonda Diggs, Bill Harris, Buddy Locklear, Debbie Packer, Keith Register, Candy Williams, and Jean Hall, Chair.  Robert and Sylvia Smith have volunteered to be available as needed.

The committee welcomes your ideas or suggestions to be considered for inclusion in these special festivities.  Additionally, if anyone else would like to volunteer to serve on this committee, do not hesitate to come forth.
